This month's Pour Pairings box is all about the bubbles! Thinking Champagne? Close but nope - we're taking a trip to Spain to experience Cava.
This Spanish sparkling wine is made the same way as Champagne but with different grapes. Coming in white or rosé, this bottle of bubbles (can be dry or sweet) offers flavors of citrus, apple, almond and sometimes a little brioche or fig.
This is a very versatile wine to pair with food so have fun with it! Spanish tapas, cheeses, olives, BBQ, fried foods, you name it! Plus, even though it's DELICIOUS on its own, they make a pretty good mimosa!
