We started Pour Pairings last year with our first box debuting in April 2021 and what a ride it has been!

Wine Of The Month:
The wine of this month is called Brachetto d'Acqui and it is a slightly sweet sparkling red wine hailing from the Acqui district in the Piedmont region of Italy. Made from the Brachetto grape, this sparkling wine has aromas of candied red fruits and roses and it can easily be what we call a #PorchPounder. Legend has it that Cleopatra fell in love with Julius Caesar over her first sip of Brachetto d’Acqui.
Perfect as an aperitif, with charcuterie, pizza, or a delicious bowl of Bolognese, the structural and flavor profile of this wine also allows it to be a great match for chocolate and berry based desserts.
